Un Sandwich!

I realize this is just a sandwich, but I do have a reputation of being a sandwich artist. Actually, if I want to be truthful, it isn’t really a reputation but more of a self-imposed title. And if I want to be even more forthright, I stole the title from Subway.

Regardless of where I got the nickname I promise you this sandwich is DELICIOUS! It actually only requires the sandwich maker to assemble pre-made ingredients, so I wasn’t even sure if I should include it, but seeing as it is one of my favorite things to eat, I am posting it.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Veggie paté

Dijon mustard

4-6 gherkin pickles

1 slice of swiss cheese (can be replaced with vegan cheese if you want a vegan to eat this)

Fresh baguette

Directions:

Cut your baguette into a desired sandwich sizes. You are then obviously going to need to cut your piece down the middle, or else it will be very difficult to make the sandwich.

Spread one side of the baguette with the dijon mustard. Slice your “paté” lengthwise, and add the pieces on top of the dijon. I don’t like to spread the “paté” because that just squashes the bread.

Add one slice of swiss cheese. Too much swiss overpowers the sandwich.

Next, cut your gherkin pickles into half lengthwise. You want them to sit flat on your sandwich and not roll around. Close your sandwich up and bite into the deliciousness of your lunch!
