Miso-Tahini Sauce

Good to dip veggies in, or to drizzle into a sandwich. I use this as my sauce when making the Hearty Vegan Bowl.

Easy to make and delicious to eat!

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp of miso paste
  • 1 ½ cups of tahini
  • 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
  • 1 cup of water (you won’t use all of it)

I use a medium sized mixing bowl for this, and then transfer the sauce into a more appropriate serving vessel if I am feeling fancy.

Start by spooning in the miso paste into your mixing bowl. Add 1 cup of the tahini. Slowly pour a little water into the miso-tahini mixture. Mix with a fork, add water, mix with a fork, add water, etc…

Keep adjusting the levels of tahini and water as needed. The consistency needs to be like that of the tahini before the miso was added.

Once a desired consistency has been reached, add in the nutritional yeast. Mix with a fork. Re-adjust the consistency with water.

Refrigerate.
